Meet The Team.

Luke Birkett is a well respected and experienced construction professional. Luke started his career on a three year bricklaying apprenticeship for Taylor Wimpey and has since worked his way up the industry ladder. He has been Site Manager for national listed housebuilder to Contracts Manager for a high end deverloper and a Project Director for a Super Prime scheme in Mayfair.

Luke’s experience covers a mixture of both commercial and residential, for projects such as boutique hotel and retail fit outs, high end office re-modelling projects, volume house building, super- prime and even ultra-prime, high value housing developments. His projects have been across the UK but mostly focussed in Surrey, Greater London and the surrounding counties.

Luke is an active, committee member of CABE (Chartered Association of Build Engineers), CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) and CMI (Chartered Management Institute), promoting high standards, new working industry practices, EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) and supporting the younger generations. He is also actively involved with several charitable organisations. Luke also has studied to a Doctorate level in Global Strategic Direction and Leadership.

Luke is a sustainability champion for the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Luke also sits on the committees for ‘Constructing Our Futures’ and ‘The Climate Action Group’ for the central London livery company – The Worshipful Company of Constructors.

Katie is responsible for Future Homes Design & Build marketing and business development implementation. Katie leads on all marketing aspects of the three core brands: Future Homes Design & Build, the Future Homes Design and Build Magazine and our upcoming online store for the home environment: Future Homes Living.

Katie has over 20 years’ experience of building brands in the property industry, undertaking Marketing for key real estate firms and the built environment.
